Joseph Mrosko, 88, Enjoyed Golf, Bowling, and Fishing
Joseph “Joe” Mrosko, 88, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday June 18, 2025 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Lorain, Joe was the son of the late Michael & Mary Mrosko Sr (nee Shirilla).
Joe was employed as a draftsman engineer at BF Goodrich for 32 years. He enjoyed golf, bowling and fishing. He cherished the time he spent with his grandsons and his great-grandchildren, whom he adored.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Ann (nee Scoffil) in 2023, his son Jeffrey Sr in 2022, his twin brother Michael Jr and sisters Mary Nahm & Anne Fullmer.
He is survived by his daughter Pam Keener (Jeff) of Lorain; his daughter-in-law Kelly Mrosko of Rocky River, his grandsons: Robert Duszik III (Shaina) of Elyria, Michael Duszik (Kristin) of Midway Park, North Carolina and Jeffrey Mrosko Jr of Rocky River; and 4 great grandchildren: Emily Duszik, Robert Duszik IV, Madison Moore and Bentley Duszik.
The family will receive friends Tuesday June 24, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Private family funeral services will be held with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
