Shawn Sas, 59, Enjoyed Bowling and Golf

He was born September 1, 1965 in Lorain to Frank & Grace Sas (nee Lafon) and had been a lifelong Lorain resident.

Shawn retired from Chemtron Corporation in Avon. He enjoyed league bowling at Rebman Recreation where he has a 300 game to his credit, playing golf, fishing and playing video games. He loved being a grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter Amanda Sas (Alec Raycher), granddaughter Hazelette Raycher, mother Grace Sas (nee Lafon), sister Stacy Matos (Manny) and brothers Frank & Adam Sas. He was preceded in death by his father Frank W. Sas.

A private family funeral service will be held at the River Church in Amherst with the Rev Rich Henry, pastor, presiding. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.

Shawn’s family would like to thank Hospice of the Western Reserve and his nurse Dave as well as the staff at Ames Family Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Shawn during his time there.
