Charlene M. Uleski, 63, Enjoyed Traveling
Charlene M. Uleski, age 63, of Lorain, passed away at Mercy Health Lorain Hospital on the evening of Tuesday October 1, 2024.Charlene was born in Lorain on July 14, 1961 and remained a life-long resident of the city. She was a 1979 graduate of Admiral King High School and later attended classes at Lorain County Community College.
For more than twenty-five years she had been employed as the assistant manager of the call center at E.H. Roberts Company in Elyria. At the time of her passing, she was working as a customer service specialist for Equity Trust in Westlake.
A parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lorain, Charlene was an ardent fan of all of Cleveland’s professional sports franchises. She enjoyed traveling throughout the continental United States with Las Vegas being amongst her favorite destinations. In addition, she enjoyed trips to Ohio’s Amish Country as well as testing her luck at local casinos.
She is survived by her brothers Robert Uleski of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Norbert F. Uleski (Denise) of Lorain. She also leaves her sister Debra Daher (Ron Borsenik) of Lorain along with six nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews.
Charlene was preceded in death by her father Norbert A. Uleski in 1995, mother Charlotte I. Uleski (nee Lesiesky) in 2006, and sister Noreen Green in July of this year.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Additional visitation will take place Monday in St. Mary Catholic Church (310 8th Street Lorain) from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Reverend Daniel O. Divis, Pastor of the parish will offiiciate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
