Norene Rita Fecho, 97, Enjoyed Reading
Norene Rita Fecho (nee Richards) 97 of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2024, at Northridge Health Care Center, in North Ridgeville following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Cleveland, October 11, 1926 to James and Bridget (nee Walsh) Richardson and raised in Lakewood. She relocated to Lorain in 1951.
Norene was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed reading, watching the news visiting friends, dining out and traveling the United States and Europe. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Lorain.
Norene is survived by her son Raymond L. Fecho; daughter Helen E. Fecho – Edwards and a grandson Brandon T. Edwards.
Other than her parents Norene was preceded in death by her husband Louis L. Fecho in 2000 and seven brothers.
Her family will receive friends at St. Francis Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Drive (Grove Avenue and Homewood Drive) Lorain on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 10:00am until 11:00pm Mass of Christian Burial, Rev. Father G. Neil Walters will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
In lieu of flowers her family suggests memorial contribution to the St. Frances Cabrini Endowment Fund.
