Angela A. Ingrassia, 97, Member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain
Angela A. Ingrassia (nee Markovich), 97, of Altamonte Springs, Florida and formerly of Lorain, died Thursday December 31, 2015 at Lifecare Nursing Home in Altamonte Springs while under the care of Hospice of the Comforter.She was born December 16, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio and had resided in Altamonte Springs since 1993 moving from Lorain County where she had lived most of her life.
Angela was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain and the Italian-American Veterans Post #1 Ladies Auxiliary in Lorain.
She is survived by her sons: Dr. James R. Ingrassia of Charleston, South Carolina and Alan R. (Karla) Ingrassia of Longwood, Florida, grandchildren: Mark Ingrassia and Gina Lopez, both of Florida and Jennifer Doseck of Elyria; 2 great grandchildren and sister Mary Goeller of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her husband Ben Ingrassia in 1980, son Keith Ingrassia in 1982, parents Mark and Anna Markovich (nee Burich), sister Sylvia Vance and daughter-in-law Beth Ingrassia in 2003.
Private family funeral services were held at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor of St. Peter Parish in Lorain, officiated. Entombment was in the mausoleum at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
