Russell E. Stipanovich, 88, Enjoyed Flying Airplanes, Boating and Fishing

Mr. Stipanovich was born in Lorain on October 4, 1927, the son of the late Eli and Emma (nee Schmidt) Stipanovich. He was a graduate of Lorain High School in the Class of 1945-B.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness on Telegraph Road; serving as Elder and the "in house plumber." He assisted with many of the construction projects at the Hall. With over 40 years experience as a plumber, he had worked for several area contractors and retired in 1988. He was a member of United Association Local 42-Plumbers, Steamfitters, HVACR Technicians and Marine Pipe fitters Union in Norwalk.
Mr. Stipanovich enjoyed his ham radio, flying airplanes, boating, fishing and photography.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Carol A. (nee Agostinho) Stipanovich, daughter, Karen S Stipanovich of Lorain, son James (Linda) Stipanovich of Strongsville, granddaughter Emma Stipanovich, sister Lois M O'Leary of Lorain and nieces Lindsay "Miki" O'Leary and Heather O'Leary.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Goldie A. (nee Weigl) Stipanovich in 1994, daughter Lynn Stipanovich in 1971, a sister Emma "Pat" Weigl and brother Clifford Stipanovich.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the DeLuca's Place ion the Park, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain with Brother Larry Young as speaker.
Burial will be private.
