Wanda A. Frazier, 69, Enjoyed Gardening and Quilting

Photo of Wanda A. Frazier Wanda A. Frazier (nee Smith), 69, of Sheffield Township, died suddenly on Thursday August 25, 2016.

She was born February 21, 1947 in Grassy Creek, West Virginia and had resided in Sheffield Township since 1961.

Wanda worked in the kitchen at Avon Oaks Nursing Home. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, canning, puzzle books and helping her husband work on the house and the cars.

She is survived by her children Mikle D. Frazier (Loretta) and Charles E. Frazier (Grace), all of Sheffield Township, Sandy Price (Lenny) and Victoria L. Kuhn (Danny), all of Elyria; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters: Brenda Sue Long (Kenny) of Webster Springs, West Virginia and Patty Smith of Cowen, West Virginia and brother Ronnie Smith (Brenda) of Charleston, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Larry Frazier in 2001, sons Larry A. Frazier in 1988 and Alan R. Frazier in 2011, parents Harold Smith and Geneva K. Smith-Salisberry (nee Hall) in 2011 and sister Karen Cowgar in 2015.

The family will receive friends Monday August 29th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be Tuesday August 30th at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel with the Rev. William Dickey presiding. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
