Frederick E. Dunkle, 71, Enjoyed Playing Bingo and Cards
Frederick E. "Gene" Dunkle, 71, of Lorain passed away on Friday August 19, 2016 at the Providence Care Center in Sandusky surrounded by his family following a long illness.
Mr. Dunkle was born in Lancaster on December 16, 1944, the son of the late William E. and Estelle (nee Glenn) Dunkle. He was retired from Ford Motor Corp, in Lorain.
He enjoyed playing bingo, cards, fixing things and crafts. He was a talented artist drawing many sketches.
Mr. Dunkle is survived by two daughters Barbara Harris, of Sandusky, Krista E Bracero of Lorain, grandchildren Melany Kertell, Catherine Kertell, John Harris, Steven Harris, Elizabeth Dunkle, Samantha Dunkle, Theresa Bracero, great grandchildren: Kendall Young, Priscilla Schilling, Rhyleigh Stacy, sister Mildred I Degan, of Lorain, brother, Clarence E Dunkle of Titusville, FL and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda C. (nee Tolson) Dunkle and a sister Beverly Faye Whatley.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Lowell Whitten officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Amherst Township.
