Joseph A. Torocsik, 67, Enjoyed Cooking and Working Out

He was born December 14, 1948 in Leanyvar, Hungary. He immigrated to Lorain in 1956 with his family. He graduated from Admiral King High School in 1967. He worked for many years with his father John at Eastside Concrete. He continued to work as a self-employed Concrete Finisher. He also worked as a bartender. He excelled at playing tennis, golf, pool and darts. He enjoyed maintaining his parent’s beloved rose gardens. His hobbies included cooking, training dogs and working out. He volunteered at Mother Cabrini’s Food Pantry.
He will be missed by his sister Eve Torocsik of Stow; uncle Les and aunt Eva of Brunswick Hills and his cousins here, Brazil and Europe.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents John and Maria (née Raby) Torocsik.
His family will receive friends Saturday, August 13 from 5:30 until time of his funeral service at 7:30 PM Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
