Photo of Donald W. Zeise Donald W. Zeise, 62, of Lorain, died Saturday July 30, 2016 at Lake Pointe Health Care in Lorain while under the care of Crossroads Hospice.

Don was born August 10, 1953 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

He worked at the Murray Ridge workshop in Elyria and attended St. Mary Catholic Church. Don was an avid fan of Ohio State football and the Cleveland Browns. He was a huge fan of John Wayne and had collected all 276 of his movies. He enjoyed bowling, yardwork and traveling to Las Vegas with his parents. He was a member of Knights of St. John Commandery #314.

He is survived by his brothers Thomas Zeise of Lorain and Steven Zeise (Theresa) of Grafton; sister-in-law Ruth Ann Zeise of Amherst and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald R. & Marian T. Zeise (nee Balmert) and brother Gregory R. Zeise.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 3rd from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 11:00 am. The Rev. Tony DeGracia, deacon of Sacred Heart Chapel, will preside. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
