Dominic Luppino, 86, Loved His Children and Grandchildren Dearly

He was born December 22, 1929 in Elyria and had resided in Akron since 1981.
Dominic graduated from West High School in Cleveland and attended Tri-State College in Angola, Indiana and Kent State University. He served with the US Air Force during the Korean War.
Dominic worked in commercial real estate in the Akron area before retiring. He also worked as an accountant and comptroller for several companies in the Cleveland, Akron and Cincinnati areas.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Akron where he was an active volunteer in church functions. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: Mark and his wife Kathy, Joan and her husband John, Gregory, Frank and his wife Jackie, Thomas, Dominic and his wife Ann and Annemarie and her husband John; grandchildren: Francesca and husband Ken Jon, William, Giselle, Alexander, Maria, Kendra, Darcy, Devin and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Filomena Luppino (nee Licastro) and sisters Grace Marsico Smith and Antoinette Luppino who died July 18, 2016.
The family will receive friends Wednesday August 3rd from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at St. Peter Parish, 3501 Oberlin Ave, Lorain. The mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday at 12:00 pm in the church with the Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor, presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Elyria.
