Anne M. Losh, 54, Enjoyed Spending Time with Family

Photo of Anne M. Losh Anne M. Losh (nee Walend), age 54 of Sheffield Township, passed away on Thursday July 28, 2016 at UH Elyria Medical Center following a brief but courageous battle with leukemia.

She was born in Lorain on January 2, 1962 and had been a resident of Lorain and Sheffield Township for her entire life. Anne was a 1980 graduate of Lorain Catholic High School.

For the past five years she had been employed as a teacher at KinderCare in Avon.

Anne was a parishioner of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lorain.

In her free time she enjoyed cooking and travel. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and, most especially, her children.

She is survived by her daughters Kristen (John) Sennhenn of Wilder, Kentucky, and Bri Losh of Sheffield Township, and by sons Nick Losh of Sheffield Township and Joey Losh of Columbus. She also leaves brothers Alan (Jeanne) Walend of Vermilion, Stephen F. (Chris) Walend of Sheffield Township, and sisters Marilyn Chavez of Lagrange, Kentucky and Joan Koons of Sheffield Township. Additional survivors include her former husband Daniel “Doc” Losh of Avon Lake, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Anne was preceded in death be her parents Stephen J. and Jennie (nee Olejko) Walend.

Visitation will be Tuesday August 2nd from 3:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 7:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Reverend John C. Retar, pastor of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish in Lorain will officiate.
