Jane Mrosko, 72, Kind, Generous and Loved to Laugh

She died Friday July 1, 2016 at Holy Family Hospice in Parma surrounded by her family and friends.
Jane graduated from Magnificat High School in Rocky River and from St. Joseph Hospital School of Practical Nursing in Lorain. She was a member of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary for 11 years. Jane served on the nursing staff at St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain and at Villa Maria Infirmary in Pennsylvania.
Jane was the Director of the Resource Mothers’ program in Lorain County and also worked for Catholic Charities at the Lorain Hunger Center on 8th Street.
Jane was kind and generous and loved to laugh. Her home was always full with friends from around the world especially on Thanksgiving.
Jane loved her dogs, especially Briggs, who was her loyal companion for many years. She enjoyed her many trips to Ireland and Italy and her family visits to Kenya.
She took great joy and pride in her grandchildren. They loved "Mimas" more than anything in the world and will always remember her kindness.
Jane is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Tom and Damaris Mrosko, her grandchildren Lynn, Joe, Tony and Nick, along with Dax Kovacevich, her stepdaughter Joyce Kovacevich and legions of close relatives and friends on many continents.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Mrosko, her parents, and brothers Ned and Tim.
Jane told everyone that she had had a great life and was not afraid to die. She did regret, however, that she would miss the packed church at the funeral and the great party afterward. And only one person to a car for the funeral procession, please.
