Emerito Ramos, 74, U.S. Army & U.S. Navy Veteran

He was born on September 23, 1942 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Emérito served in the US Army and the US Navy. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Emérito will be deeply missed by his wife Asunción Ramos, daughter Shirley Pérez of New York, brothers Daniel Ramos of Boston, MA; sisters, Mercedes Ramos of Puerto Rico and Margarita Ramos of Massachusetts.

He was preceded in death by his parents José (Pepe) Ramos and Carmen Maldonado Rosa, brother Ernesto Ramos.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5th 6:00pm at La Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal “Ebenezer” 3660 Globe Ave., Lorain. A “Celebration of Life” service will be at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 6th at 10:00am. Associate Pastor Jose Montijo will officiate. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville. Full military honors will be conducted by the Disabled American Veterans Louis Paul Proy Chapter 20, Lorain
