Dennis A. Staysniak, 60, Possessed a Deep Interest in Computers

Born in Lorain on June 15, 1956, he had been a long-time resident of Elyria Township.

Dennis attended Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio and later graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea.

He had been employed for the past nineteen years as an information systems manager for the Lorain County Board of Mental Health.

Dennis possessed a deep interest in computers as well as a fascination with the field of video production. An avid fan of Doctor Who, he also enjoyed reading and especially liked subjects dealing with technological advances.

He leaves a host of cousins to embrace his memory along with many close friends including David and Dorothy Spring residing in British Columbia. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard J. and Anna “Dolly” (nee Karamarkovich) Staysniak.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Reverend Marcia Ferko representing Greater Works International Church in Columbus will officiate. Dennis will be buried next to his parents in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
