Eleanor Elaine Shedron, 82, Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother

Eleanor was born on February 17, 1934 in Lorain. She was a 1952 graduate of Lorain High School.
Eleanor was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was also employed for many years by Lorain National Bank.
Eleanor was a long time member of the Amherst Community Chorus where she enjoyed singing and performing. She was also a dedicated organizer and volunteer for the LHS Vermi 50s class reunions. Eleanor's passions included cross-stitch art and framing, trips to Amish and caring for friends and family. She was a Member of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, Lorain.
Eleanor is survived by her son, Gregory L. Shedron (Michele) of Delaware, Ohio; daughter, Rebecca Ann Williams of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren: Anastasia Rose Shedron and Alexander Louis Shedron, both of Columbus; Taylor Marie Williams and Samantha Elise Williams, both of Charleston, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Richard Lewis Shedron in 2015; her parents Louis and Fanitza Yaneff; sister Donna Griffith and brother John Yaneff, as well as her beloved dog Rigby.
El's unforgettable spirit and personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She loved her family and life-long friends with all her heart.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, May 16 from 3 to 7 pm at Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1738 East 31st Street, South Lorain. A funeral service will be held at 6pm.
The family suggests contributions be made in memory to Mercy New Life Hospice of St. Joseph.
