Walter Feistner, 71, Loved Spending Time with Family and Friends

He was born in Banja Luka, Bosnia Herzegovina on November 5, 1944. Walter immigrated to Lorain in 1971 and moved to Avon Lake in 1990.

He was an electrician when he retired from Ford Ohio Assembly Plant, Avon Lake.

Walter loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved music and spending time around the water. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and always willing to go the extra mile.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters Silvia Fajstner and Caroline Greenly both of Sarasota, Florida; granddaughter Mackensie Greenly; sisters Hilda Salopek and Zdenka Kadic; nephews Dubravko Ljubicic and Zeljko Salopek; nieces Marjana Bozic (nee Maric) and Aleksandra Mihailovic (nee Maric).

Walter was preceded in death by his parents Karlo and Ema (née Ilic) Feistner.

His family will receive friends Saturday, May 14 from noon until time of his funeral service at 3 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164.
