Ava Rose Ramirez, 8, Enjoyed Playing with Her Siblings

She was born in Elyria on September 28, 2007 and had been a resident of Lorain for her entire life; Ava was currently a second grader at Murray Ridge School.
She was a fan of Dora the Explorer and enjoyed playing with her siblings, singing songs, and reading her books. She also liked using her Ipad.
She is survived by her mother Jami Bzdak (fiancé Andy Teague) of Lorain, father Joseph Ramirez also of Lorain, sisters Ashley Thomas of Elyria and Hannah Ramirez of Lorain, by her twin sister Olivia Ramirez also of Lorain, step-sister Peyton Teague of Wellington, and step brothers Caleb and Trenton Teague also both of Wellington. In addition she leaves her grandmother Angela Bzdak (John Akosi) of Amherst, grandparents Charles and Donna Teague of Wellington, and great grandmother Betty Carter of Bastian, Virginia. Ava also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins including her aunt Cami Hill (Jason) of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her brother Anthony Thomas in 2003.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Family Fellowship - 780 Cooper-Foster Park Road with Reverend Josh Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
