Ann V. Nau, 92, Will be Dearly Missed

Mrs. Nau was born on October 11, 1923 in Lorain, the daughter of Michael and Veronica (nee Kovach) Bartus. She was a lifetime resident of this area and was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Elyria High School.
She had worked as a clerk for the J. C. Penny Stores in both Lorain and Elyria. During the War, she worked at Stanadyne.
For more than 60 years, she was an active member of the Faith United Methodist Church. In her later years, she helped develop the Lorain United Methodist Clothing Ministries, where she served as the director for 22 years, retiring at 90 years old. As an active member of her church she also served as a church trustee, member of the Church Administrative Board, Lay Delegate to the Methodist Conference, and was a member of the adult Sunday School Class.
She was also a member of Lighthouse AARP# 399, Penny's 305 Group, Lorain Community Seniors and The Lorain Council on Aging.
Mrs. Nau is survived by daughters, Roberta Bertman of Vermilion, Debbie (Calvin) Bobrowski, Sandra Campana all of Lorain, Michele (James) Ilcisko of Amherst, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Nau in 1994, brother George Jacobs, and sisters, Mary Ann Fiedler, Stella Stanphil, Ethel Jacobs, and Helen Bartus.
Friends may call on Sunday May 1, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. in the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway Ave, Lorain, OH 44055.
Funeral Services will be Monday, May 2, 2016 in the Faith United Methodist Church, 2201 Reid Ave., Lorain at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Karen Hollingsworth, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Twp.
