Shirley K. White, 77, Dedicated to Her Faith and Family

She was born in Lego, West Virginia on July 17, 1938 and had been a resident of Lorain since 1958 coming from Eckels, West Virginia.
Shirley was formerly employed by both RAMCO Cleaning Services of Lorain and the Aquamarine Resort in Avon Lake.
She was a member of the Christian Life Church in Lorain; dedicated to her faith and her family, Shirley enjoyed organizing picnics for her children in their younger days at Mill Hollow and Findlay State Park. She also liked taking trips back to West Virginia as well as watching auto racing at Lorain County Speedway. She was also a fan of WWF Wrestling.
She is survived by her sons James R. White (Brenda) and William N. White both of Lorain, along with her daughter Patty White also of Lorain. In addition, she leaves six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie R. White in 2005, by her parents Charles H. and Annie (nee Robinson) Nelson, by sisters Mamie Nelson and Louise Adtkins, and brothers Preston, Charlie, Claude, and Eddie.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with Reverend Wallace Justice officiating. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
