Gary C. Wilson, 65, U.S. Air Force Veteran
Gary C. Wilson, 65, of Lorain passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Wilson was born in Lorain on December 14, 1950, the son of the late Willard C. and Evelyn M. (Bischoff) Wilson. He was a member of the class of 1969 of Lorain Admiral King High School.
He was a veteran of the US Air force, serving in the early 1970's, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Although he worked for a short time at the former Lorain Ship Works, he spent the majority of his working career with the Lorain Post office. He retired in 2014 after more than 28 years of service.
Mr. Wilson was an outdoors man, enjoying woodworking, roller skating, hiking and especially spending time with his cats.
He is survived by sisters, Arna B. (Mo) Safar of Lorain, Karen J. (Arnel) Cowger of Elyria and Dolores J. McCallister of Weirton, WV, 5 nephews and 3 nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard W. Wilson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home..
Burial with full military honors will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:30 pm in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Rittman, OH 44270.
