Daniel E. Butkowski, 56, Lover of the Outdoors
Daniel E. “Danny” Butkowski, age 56, of Highland Heights, passed away on the evening of Saturday March 12, 2016 at UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio.
Danny was born in Lorain on September 11, 1959 and had been a resident of Highland Heights for the past thirty-four years. He was employed as a production assistant at the Warrensville Developmental Center.
He was known as an extremely friendly individual who always enjoyed the lively art of conversation. Danny was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed walking and hiking in his free time; he also like watching television.
Survivors include his mother Ruth Butkowski (nee Mihok) of Lorain and his sister Diane Jones (Clarence) of North Ridgeville.
Danny was preceded in death by his father Frank Butkowski in 1982 along with an infant brother.
Friends may call Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Additional visitation will take place Tuesday in Ss. Peter & Paul Lutheran Church – 1500 Lincoln Boulevard from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Edgar Anthony, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
