Rafael Beltran, 84, Enjoyed Gaming, Playing Pool and Dominoes

He was bon October 24, 1931 in Lares, Puerto Rico. Rafael came to Lorain in 1967. He attended Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Misionera, Lorain.
Rafael retired from Ford Engine Plant, Brookpark in 1995. He worked there for 27 years. He enjoyed gaming, playing pool and dominoes.
He is survived by his sons Rafael, Albert (Edith), Abraham, Luis and Victor (Carmen) Beltran all of Lorain; daughters Carmen (David) Rivera of Lorain, Mayra (Rafael) Diaz of Lorain, Margareta Beltran of Lorain, Mercedes Beltran of Lorain, Migdalia (Hector) Flecha of Lorain, Milagros Beltran and Olga Beltran of Amherst; sisters Luisa Toledo of Lorain and Carmen Ortiz of Lorain; 34 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Rafael was preceded in death by his parents Virgilio Beltran and Juanita Molina; brothers Oscar and Abraham Beltran and sisters Ana and Ramona Beltran.
His family will receive friends Thursday, March 3 from 4 to 8 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. His funeral service will be there Friday at 10 AM. The Rev. Carmen Garcia, pastor of Jesus el Camino, Lorain. His burial will follow in in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
