Marjorie M. Yeager, 93, Loving and Devoted Mother and Grandmother

Photo of Marjorie M. Yeager Marjorie M. Yeager, 93, (nee Beatty) of Lorain paased away on Tuesday evening, Feb, 23, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Yeager was born in Bellevue on March 28, 1922, the daughter of the late Edward S. and Estella "Stella" P. (nee Penn) Beatty. She was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church in Lorain.

She was a homemaker and a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of the New Era Club as well as several other card clubs over the years. She loved to read, play bingo, photography, visiting casinos but especially enjoyed caring for grandchildren.

Mrs. Yeager is survived by daughters, Darlene J. (Don) Morgan, Lois J. Holbrook all of Lorain, Sandra D (Keith) Myers, of Lagrange, sons Calvin "Larry" (Tamara) L. Yeager, Jr., of Las Vegas, Thomas A. (Jennifer) Yeager of Lorain, several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a brother Robert (Marion) Beatty of Vickery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Calvin L. Yearger in 1998, grandsons Kenneth Morgan, Douglas Morgan, Scott Rutledge, sister Dorathe Callan, brothers Edward Beatty Jr., and William Beatty.

Friends may call on Friday, Feb 26, 2016 from 3-8 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

Additional friends may call on Saturday morning, Feb. 27, 2016 from 10:00 until funeral services at 11:00 am in the funeral home. The Rev. Karen Hollingsworth, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 2201 Reid Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44052 or to Mercy-New Life Hospice of St. Joseph, c/o Mercy Foundation, 3600 Kolbe Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
