Eugene F. Rutkowski, 79, Will be Deeply Missed

He was born October 2, 1936 in Lorain. Gene was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Lorain High School in 1954.
Gene was a tool maker for American Crucible and Kenco Pump in Lorain. He was a member of Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ, Lorain. He was the chief elder of the church’s consistory board and the superintendent of Sunday School. Gene was also a member of the Rivera Swim Club and the Beaver Creek Sportsman Club.
He will be deeply missed by his wife loving wife of 57 years Patricia Rutkowski (née Molnar; daughters Shelley (Andy) Suvar and Sharon (John) Baker both New London and Stephanie (Norm) Eddy of Fairview, WV; sisters Jeannette Rager of Ocala, FL and Marlene Tillman of FL; brother Anthony Rutkowski of Lorain; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents Dominic and Margaret (née Zbin) Rutkowski; sister Pat Blake and a grandson Timmy Suvar.
His family will receive friends one half hour before his memorial service at 11 AM in Hungarian Reformed Church, 1691 East 31st Street, Lorain. Rev. Peter Toth, Pastor will officiate. His family suggests memorial contributions to Hungarian Reformed Church 1691 East 31st St., Lorain OH 44055.
