Constance Belletti, 102, Enjoyed Cooking

Photo of Constance Belletti Constance Belletti (nee Palermo ), age 102, of Lorain, passed away on Monday February 15, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio .

She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 10, 1914 and had been a resident of Lorain since childhood.

Mrs. Belletti was a 1934 graduate of Lorain High School and had been employed for a number of years as a clerk and cashier for the Atlantic & Pacific grocery stores. Previously, she had worked as a machinist for the
American Crucible Corporation.

Connie was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain
and was a member of the Marian Guild at the church as well as a member of
the Senior Sociable’s.

In her free time she enjoyed cooking with Italian cuisine serving as her
specialty.

She is survived by grandsons Christopher (Amy) Belletti of Cleves, Ohio, and Bradley (Sasha) Belletti of Menlo Park, California, along with great granddaughters Chloe, Madison, and Grace Belletti. She also leaves her brother Ralph Palermo of Vermilion and Gerald Palermo of Lady Lake , Florida .

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Celsus “Jess” Belletti in 2000, by her son Louis R. Belletti in 1979, and by brothers Philip, Anthony, and Joseph Palermo.

Visitation will be in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 East Erie Avenue on Saturday February 20 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Reverend James Sheil will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain .

Memorial contributions are encouraged to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 East Erie Ave. - Lorain, OH 44052 .

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel.
