Dolores J. Sabo, 82, Will Be Dearly Missed
Dolores J. Sabo (nee Jacovetti), 82, of Lorain, died Tuesday January 12, 2016 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon after a short illness.She was born December 3, 1933 in Lorain and had been a lifelong South Lorain resident.
Dolores graduated from Lorain High School. She worked in the cafeteria at Southview High School in Lorain for over 15 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic in Lorain.
She is survived by daughter Cheryl (Chris) Hall of Sheffield Township and brother Richard Jacovetti of Port Charlotte, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Ferdinand “Fritz” Sabo, daughter Mary Sabo, parents Joseph & Marie Jacovetti (nee Barath) and brother Jim Jacovetti.
The family will receive friends Friday 10:00 am until the time of memorial services at 11:00 am at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Donald Dunson, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township, will preside. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
