Sandra L. Barres, 67, Enjoyed Arts and Crafts and Gardening
Sandra L. Barres (nee Virag), 67, of Lorain, died Tuesday December 1, 2015 in the intensive care unit at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain after a long illness.
She was born September 26, 1948 in Elyria and had been a lifelong Lorain County resident.
Sandra worked as a medical technician at US Steel in Lorain. She enjoyed arts and crafts, bingo, gardening and bird watching.
She is survived by her daughter Janine Gnizak of Sheffield Village and sister Betty Virag of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary E. Cassetta (nee Barko), father George J. Virag Jr and sister Karen Ulery.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 103 W. Main St, South Amherst.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
