Emily E. Moseley, 96, Beloved Wife, Niece, and Friend

Mrs. Moseley was born on April 20, 1919 in Cleveland, the daughter of late John P. and Elizabeth (nee Maczko) Dzmura . She had one brother, the late Theodore Dzmura.
When her father died in 1942, Emily accompanied her mother back to her family home in Leisenring, Fayette County, Pa. Her mother was the oldest of thirteen children and Emily lived with numerous uncles, including Vick, Paul, Ted, Nicky, and Myron Maczko. She would become lifelong friends with her aunt, Lillian Maczko (later Fogle), who was actually younger than Emily. She was working at the Anchor-Hocking glass factory in Connellsville, PA when Lillian's husband, Donald Fogle, an Army Master Sergeant, stopped in Leisenring on his way from the east coast to a base in Texas, traveling with a comrade named George Moseley. Emily and George started dating, fell in love, and were married on April 5, 1951, in Guadelupe County, Texas, near San Antonio. They settled in Lorain after George' service, and they remained happily married for forty- five years, until George's death in 1996.
In her later years, Emily was well cared-for in a private home and enjoyed visits by Lillian's daughter and grandchildren. Her family would like to thank Cristinela Denes for caring for Emily and Attorney Michael J. Scherach for handling her affairs. Emily will be buried Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
