Stephen F. Pintur, 76, Enjoyed Golf and Bowling

Photo of Stephen F. Pintur Stephen F. Pintur, age 76, of Elyria Township, passed away on Wednesday October 21st, 2015 at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland following a brief illness.

Steve was born in Lorain on October 26, 1938 and had been a resident of Elyria Township for the past five years; he had previously resided in Lorain.

Mr. Pintur was employed as a press operator for Armstrong Air in Bellevue retiring from the manufacturer in 2006. He had previously worked in the same capacity for Tappan Industries and was also formerly employed by American Standard.

Steve was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. In his free time he enjoyed golf and bowling. Additional interests included gardening and automobiles.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years Jacqueline (nee Sorino), daughter Stephanie M. Pintur of Elyria Township, sons Michael F. Pintur of Amherst Township and Randy F. Pintur of Lorain. Additional survivors include his granddaughter Justine Pintur, brother John Pintur of Lorain, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Pintur was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ruth (nee Ivecik) Pintur, brothers Carl and Henry, and sister Ruth Helyes.

Cremation services are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
