Neil S. Levit, 62, Enjoyed Sports

Mr. Levit was born in Lorain on June 11, 1953, the son of the late Harold A. and Eunice J. (nee Baker) Levit. He was a 1971 graduate of Admiral King High School.
He was a member of the Agudath B'nai Israel Temple in Lorain where he was currently serving on the board of trustees. He had also served as president of that board.
Mr. Levit enjoyed most sports and was a bowler with the Service Club League at Rebman's Rec bowling alley. He also enjoyed baseball, softball and playing golf. He was past president and longtime member of the Lorain Rotary Club.
He grew up working in his family's local business, the former Baker Meats and Levit's Westside Market. For the last 15 years, he served as a sales consultant at Mike Bass Ford and Mazda.
Mr. Levit is survived by his wife Debbie L. (nee Gross) Levit, to whom he was wed on October 11, 1981, children, Matthew Levit of Lorain, Erica (Brenden) Beiriger, of Chandler, AZ, Kyle (Wesley) Levit, of Mesa, AZ, Ashley (Jay) Naugle, of Gilbert, AZ, the love of "Popa's" life, his granddaughter Meriah Grace, brother Rob (Katarina) Levit and his sister Allyson (Bill) Feger of Macungie, PA, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 11:00 am until Memorial Services at 1:30 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. Rabbi Shalom Plotkin will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Agudath B'nai Israel Temple-Local Lorain Emergency Relief Fund 1715 Meister Road Lorain, OH 44053 in direct support of Neil and Debbie Levit.
