Frances Pavlovcic, 92, Will be Dearly Missed

She was born January 17, 1923 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. Fran worked as a cashier for A& P Food Stores for over 20 years. She also worked as a monitor at Elyria Catholic High School.
She was a member of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish Church, Lorain. Fran was a member of the former Saints Cyril and Methodius Slovenian Catholic Church, Lorain, She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Guild, KSKJ and Slovenian Women’s Union. Fran volunteered at the St. Joseph Hospital Coffee Shop.
She will be missed by her husband Frank Fritz Pavlovcic of Lorain; son Frank W. of Lorain; daughter Kathy (Alan) Szarek of Lorain; grandchildren Dr. Frank (Laenne Thompson) Pavlovcic, Heather Pavlovcic, Matthew Pavlovcic, Terry Shullick and Deb Michael; great grandchildren Sierra and Rylie Michael.
Fran was preceded in death by parents Stephen and Anna (née Loncar) Perkovich; brothers Rudy and Steve Perkovich and a sister Marie Dekalich.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, where Closing Prayers will be Thursday at 10:30 then Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish Church, 2143 Homewood Drive (at Grove Ave. Rt. 57). Rev. Father John C. Retar, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
