Michela Bertolami, 94, Loved Spending Time With Family

She was born on July 30, 1921 in Novara, Italy to her loving parents, Nicola and Concetta (nee:Raccuia) Orlando.
Michela came to America with her mother at the age of nine to join her father whom was already here in America. She graduated from Wadsworth High School and married her love, Salvatore Bertolami on November 6, 1943. Michela was a homemaker, raising her two children and was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain, OH. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Joseph) Vitale and Dr. Charles (Linda) Bertolami; grandchildren, Christopher (Candace) Vitale, Michele (Frank) Caliendo, Michela Denoncourt and Joseph (Dr. Jennifer) Bertolami; great-grandchildren, Joseph and Juliet Caliendo; step great-grandson, Anthony Rocco Canterna; sisters, Vi (Joseph) Torre and Jeanne (Larry-deceased) Dean; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years of marriage, Salvatore; parents, Nicola and Concetta Orlando; and infant brother, Joseph Orlando.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday, August 21 at St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, OH, Fr. Craig M. Hovanec, officiating (meet at Church on Friday). Christian burial services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH.
