Agnes Eleanor Miadock, 84, Loved baking and gardening

Agnes navigated her toughest job, motherhood, flawlessly. The open arms philosophy she practiced throughout her life created a home environment that was filled with love and kindness. Her life’s door was always open and those that entered through it were always met with a warm and caring smile.
She will always be remembered for her unwavering commitment to family, her delicious family meals, and her exceptional baking talent. Her love for flower gardening and her insatiable love of travel, both European and domestic, highlighted her constant need to experience the beauty of this world. Agnes’ beautiful soul was felt by all.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Diana Mahilo of Cincinnati, Thomas (Judith) Miadock of Lorain, Karen (Lawrence) Treboniak of Lorain, and James (Debra) Miadock of Lorain, along with eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Jeanette (Raymond) Traczek of Lorain, brother Michael (Judith) Stefanich also of Lorain, and brother-in-law Jerry Sakach residing in Sheffield Township.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband William R. Bill Miadock, her parents John and Anna (nee Molnar) Stefanich, her brother John Stefanich (in infancy), her brother Richard Stefanich, and sisters Anna Stefanich (in infancy), Mary Hooven and Dorothy Sakach.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Reverend Jimmy Madsen, pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
