Richard G. �Rick� Ralph, Jr., 57, Avid Cleveland Indians fan will be dearly missed

He was employed by the Ford Motor Company where he most recently worked as a stock handler. Rick retired in 2007 following a career that spanned thirty years with the automaker. He was a former member of both U.A.W. Local 425 and Local 2000.
He enjoyed football and baseball and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians. Additional interests included computer games, fishing, golf, and bowling.
Rick was a member of Branch #5 of the Alliance of Transylvanian Saxons and had also been a member of the former United Polish Club of Lorain.
He is survived by daughters Angela Ralph of Amherst and Ashley Ralph of Lorain, by his mother Betty Ralph (nee Gross) of Lorain, by his sister Debbie Tomusko (Bob) of Lorain, and by brothers Tom and Bob Ralph also both of Lorain. In addition, he leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Richard G. Ralph, Sr. in 1997, by his sister-in-law Joyce Ralph (nee Lachowyn) in 2014, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with Reverend Philip E. Kunz, pastor of St. John’s United Church of Christ officiating.
