Charles Surace, 65, Father, Grandfather, and Uncle
Charles H. Surace, 65, of Lorain passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was under the care of New Life Hospice. Chuck was born May 23, 1950. He was a graduate of Admiral King High School in 1968.
He is survived by Donna Arroyo of Lorain, daughters Jessica (Brandon) Surace of Jacksonville, Florida and Julie Surace of Lorain, grandchildren Alaric and Aerilyn Payton and LaShawn Marshall; nephew Kristian Horne; brother Robert Surace of Oviedo, Florida and sister Mary Ann Robles of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by parents Louis and Ann (née Sinch) Surace, and brothers David Surace and William Surace.
His family will receive friends Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 10 until time of a memorial mass at 11:00 AM in St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Dr. (Grove Ave. and Homewood Dr.) Lorain Ohio. Rev. Father John C. Retar, Pastor will officiate. Burial will be Wednesday at 12:30 PM in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses or to St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Dr., Lorain Ohio, 44055.
