Michael A. Blount, 53, of Lorain, passed away Saturday, May 30th 2015 in Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain following a lengthy illness.
He was born March 29, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Patsy Blount. Michael had been a Lorain resident for the past 11 Years. He worked for Innovative Surface Technology in Elyria. He also ran a DJ service. Michael enjoyed fishing and listing to classic rock, soul and Motown music.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 8 years Amelia Blount (née Rojas) of Lorain; sons Michael Wright, Antoine Wright, Steven Willis and Nigel Willis; daughters Michelle Willis and Melissa Rivera; step mother Rose Blount; sister Lillian Denham; brothers Peter Denham, John Blount, Blount, Mark and Jerome Kyles.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Richard Denham.
His family will receive friends Saturday from 9 until time of his funeral service at 12 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. His brother in law, Pastor Rolando Rojas of Spanish Evangelical Church in Youngstown will officiate.
