Albert Poprock, 87, U.S. Army Veteran

He was born on April 26, 1928 in Lorain, OH where he was a lifelong resident. Butch attended Lorain High School before entering into the U.S. Army during WWII and was later honorably discharged. He returned home and worked at U.S. Steel as an electrician. Butch was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and PLAV in Lorain. He enjoyed golfing and trips to Las Vegas.
Butch is survived by his brother, Edward (Mary) Poprock; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Sophie Poprock; brothers, Theodore (Frances), Donald (Nina), William (Helen) and John (Jackie) Poprock; and nephew, Scott Poprock.
Christian entombment services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Calvary Cemetery, 555 North Ridge Rd, Lorain, Fr. Craig M. Hovanec, officiating (meet at main entrance of cemetery).
