Karen Diane Santos, 53, U.S. Navy Veteran
Karen Diane Santos (nee Edwards), 53 of Lorain went home to be with the Lord Tuesday May, 19th, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 18th, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio. Karen was a 1979 graduate from Brookside High School in Sheffield Lake, OH and proudly served in the U.S. Navy stationed in San Diego, California.
Karen was employed at the Inn at Joshua Tree in N. Olmsted, OH and was a long time member of Tower Baptist Church in Lorain. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends, attending church, sharing the word of God, listening to music and loved makeup and getting her hair done.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 25 years James Santos of Lorain, her children Parris Pisiona of San Diego, California, Natalie Santos (Elvin Figueroa), Valerie (Julio) Vazquez and Antonio Santos all of Lorain. As well as her parents Clifford and Shirley Edwards of Sheffield Lake, her sister Sandra (Tony) Davis of Sheffield Township and was known as Nanya to her three grandchildren Angelito, Julianise and Ava all of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ernest and Edith Edwards and Monroe and Ruth Spencer.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday, May 26 from 10 until time of her funeral service at 12 PM (noon) at the Tower Baptist Church, 1313 Tower Boulevard, Lorain. Pastor Gary Dorsey will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Westlake.
