JoAnn Haller, 77, Enjoyed Bowling & Cooking

She was born April 17, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to the Lorain area as an infant living here most of her life.
JoAnn worked as a Sales Manager in the Coat Department at May Company in Sheffield Centre for many years. She also worked in home health care for a few years.
JoAnn was a past member of Broadway Assembly Church in Lorain where she taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed bowling and bowled in women’s leagues at Rebman Recreation in Lorain. JoAnn enjoyed cooking, crafts, quilting and crossword puzzles but mostly enjoyed taking care of her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Junior Haller, daughters Carole Bare of Amherst, Maureen Payne of Lorain, Rebecca Haller of Dublin, Tracy Lewis (Scott) of Amherst and Juanita Hardy of Elyria Township, son Curtis Haller (Margie Nichols) of Lorain, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister Bonnie Hartsell (Bill) of Ashland and brother Edward Lautner of Minnesota and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Zada Lautner (nee Biddlecome), brothers Joseph and William Lautner and son-in-law Jerry L. Bare in 2011.
The family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:00 pm in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
