Robert A. Wharton, 66, Was active in the Workshop Players and Community Theater
Robert A. Wharton, 66, of Lorain, died Saturday February 28, 2015 at his parent’s home after a 20 year illness with Multiple Sclerosis.He was born September 14, 1948 in Avon Lake and had resided in Lorain, Oberlin and Massachusetts.
Robert received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Toledo where he was active in theater and comedy routines. He received his Masters Degree from Bowling Green State University and became a licensed Massotherapist after attending the Ohio School of Massotherapy in Akron.
Robert worked in the library at Oberlin College and then worked as a Massotherapist while living in Massachusetts. When he moved back to Ohio, he tended bar at Presti’s Restaurant in Oberlin.
He was active in the Workshop Players and Community Theater.
He is survived by his son Goodwin Win Wharton of Los Angeles, California and parents Robert Fuzz and Jeanne Wharton (nee Huber) of Lorain.
Cremation will take place and his ashes will be interred at a later date.
