Richard Coleman Barlow, 45, Had a Passion for Fishing

Photo of Richard Coleman Barlow Richard Coleman Barlow, 45, of Lorain, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday February 18, 2015.

He attended Lorain High School and the Electronic Technical Institute. He worked at Crown Molding in Lorain.

He had a passion for fishing and found peace while on his boat enjoying the lake. His children were the focus of his life. He loved them with all his heart. He was a fun loving warm hearted man. He was a good friend to all and loving family member with a heart of gold. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He enjoyed the chapel at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain and visited it often.

He is survived by his children Nychel, Cara, Ciera, Autumn and Ricky, Jr, stepchildren Christopher, Charlie and Caleb, loving sisters Sandy Chapman (Dan), Denise Sanchez (James) and Diane Hannigan, nieces and nephews Ted, Mark, Gareth, Bianca, Elizabeth, Denia, Jessica, Nicholette and Jimmy Jr and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Clara Barlow (nee Zuchowski) and brothers Georgie and Randy Barlow.

The family will receive friends Sunday 4-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 E Erie Ave, Lorain. The Rev. James Shiel will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
