Victor R. Osgood, 91, World War II Veteran

Victor was a veteran of WWII, was a welder, delivered mail and was a volunteer fireman for Westlake. He enjoyed being with his family, gardening, hunting and telling stories.
He leaves behind his dear wife of 38 years, Louise, (nee Gutzman), his children, Sandra (Steve) Gerrick of Parma, Donna Simmons of Elyria, Victor R. II (Peggy) Osgood of Avon Lake, Gail (David) Copeland of Avon and Craig Koch of Avon, grandchildren, Jacquiline, Steven, Cynthia, Jessica, Bill, Sara, Todd, Keith and 8 great grandchildren.
Victor was preceeded in death by his parents, Victor I and Rowena Osgood, wife, Jane, (nee Russ), daughter, Susan (Douglas) Hurlbutt, and brother, Frank (Helen) Osgood.
His funeral will be held at St. Paul Luthern Church, 27993 Detroit Rd., Westlake, OH 44145 on Saturday January 10, 2015. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with services and internment at 11:00 a.m.
