Edith M. Ingalls, 81, Enjoyed Crafts
Edith M. Ingalls (nee Brown), 81, of Milford, CT, died Monday, March 7, 2005 in Welcome Nursing Home, Oberlin, Ohio.She was born August 20, 1923 in Bridgeport, CT and had been a resident of Milford for over 50 years.
She worked as a postal worker in New Haven CT. She was a graduate of Pratt Art Institute in Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of Mary Taylor United Methodist Church in Milford, CT, and enjoyed crafts, painting, rug hooking, and animals.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Foster of Wakeman, OH, and Cathy Ingalls of Spring, TX; 1 grandchild and 3 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Austin H. Ingalls, Jr. and her parents, William and Helen (nee Ayers) Brown.
Services will be private.
