Kenneth G. Kinzel, 72, Loved Working in His Garden and on Small Engines

Kenneth G. Kinzel age 72 of Grafton passed away Saturday morning, March 5, 2005, in Elyria Memorial Hospital R.M.C. after a lengthy illness.

He was born Sunday, February 5, 1933 in Grafton and living in the Grafton area all his life.

He is a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Grafton for many years, and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 during the Korean Conflict in the Motor Pool Dept.

He was employed by Concrete Masonary Co. in Elyria for many years, and a salesman for Perkins Motors. His love for working on small engine repair lead him to work at Capells in Elyria. It has been said "that if Mr Kinzel couldn't get it running nobody could".

Mr Kinzel loved working in his garden and on small engines, spending time with his children and grand children. He was also a member of True 4-H's during childhood years.

He is survived by his wife Carole married 46 years, Daughters Katherine Murphy of Grafton, Ohio, Ann Marie Tuttle of Wakeman, Ohio, 2 Sons John Kinzel of Wakeman, Ohio, Paul Kinzel of Amherst, Ohio, 10 Grand children, 1 sister Joyce Van Amburgh of Grafton, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents Urban & Emma Kinzel.

Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton Monday evening, March 7, 2005, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with an funeral mass Tuesday in
Immaculate Conception Church 708 Erie St. Grafton at 10:00am with Fr. John Seabold pastor off. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amherst, Ohio.
