Anna M. Kaya, 92, Enjoyed Crocheting and Gardening
Anna M. Kaya (nee Dyka), 92, of Lorain, died Monday, February 28, 2005 at Ohio Extended Care Center in Lorain after a lengthy illness.She was born April 26, 1912 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
During World War II Anna worked at US Steel in Lorain and had also worked at General Industries and Troxel Industries.
Anna was a member of Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ in Lorain and the Busy Martha Guild of the church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and baking.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Kaya in 1999, parents John & Anna (nee Chum) Dyka, sister Helen Fischer and brothers William Dyka and Steve Dyka.
T he family will receive friends Thursday, March 3, 2005, from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral services at 11:00 AM at Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Zoltan Kelemen, pastor of West Side Hungarian Reformed Church in Cleveland, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
