William E. White Sr., 74, Enjoyed Sports
William E. White Sr., 74, of Lorain, died Friday, February 25, 2005 at Community Health Partners Hospital West following a lengthy illness.He was born May 4, 1930 in Flushing, Ohio and moved to the area in 1954.
He worked for the Ohio State Turnpike in the Sign Shop for many years.
He is a Korean War Army Veteran and was in the 54th Armored Field Artillery Battalion of the 3rd Armored Division.
Mr. White enjoyed sports.
He is survived by his sons, William E. White Jr., of Lorain and Robert White of Lorain. Daughters, Cheri Eno of Lorain, Debbie Morales of Lorain, Lori White of Lorain, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, brother, Emerson White of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Donna White of Flushing, Ohio, Maxine White of Flushing Ohio and Shirley Amos of Bethesda, Ohio.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann White in 20012, Brothers, Leslie and Lloyd White, sister, Dorothy White, parents, Dwayne and Hazel White.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 28, 2005, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Brother Arlon Lowe will officiate. Burial will take place at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
