Gladys H. Hoadley, 93, Enjoyed Cooking and Gardening

She was born October 19, 1911 in Elyria, OH and has been an Elyria resident for most of her life.
She was a member of the Elyria Eastern Star. She enjoyed leather work, gardening, cooking, canning and watching the Cleveland Indians.
She is survived by 2 sons, James Hoadley of Vermilion, and John Hoadley of Nutley, NJ; a daughter, Jackie Warner of Fort Wayne, IN; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene A. Hoadley in 1970; parents, John C. and Mabel ( nee Waldorf) Smith; sister, Velma Van Wagenen and brother, Earl Smith..
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 24, 2005, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Matthew Humphrey, funeral celebrant, will officiate.
Inturnment will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
