Robert R. Schaefer, 65, US Army Veteran

Robert R. Schaefer, 65, of Lorain died on Sunday, February 20, 2005, at Community Health Partners Hospital & Surgical Center in Lorain, OH unexpectedly.

Mr. Schaefer was born on April 15, 1939 in Avon Lake, OH and lived in this area all his life.

He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of St. Mary Church.

He was a retired inspector for Ford Motor-Lorain with 33 years service.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, camping, fishing, western
movies and jigsaw puzzles.

Mr. Schaefer is survived by his wife Dianna M. (nee Senko) Schaefer, to whom he was married on April 23, 1960, daughters, Deborah L Escobar, Darlene M. Schaefer both of Lorain, sons, David A Schaefer of Vermilion, and Robert D. Schaefer of Lorain, 7 grandchildren, and his sister Virginia Wentzel of Norwalk.

He is preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Ruth (nee Young) Schaefer, his sister Theresa Constanzo, his brothers Donald Schaefer, and Stanley
Schaefer.

Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Tuesday, February 22, 2005, from 2-4 to 7-9 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 10 a.m. in Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH.

Robert R. Schaefer will be buried at Resthaven Memory Garden in Avon, OH.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the donor's
choice in memory of Mr. Schaefer.
