Gerald V. �Jerry� Horomanski, 62, Pharmacy Tech

He was born September 26, 1942 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Jerry worked at Republic Technologies in Lorain for the past 39 years handling the shipping and receiving of trucks to the mill. He also interned and worked part time as a Pharmacy Technician at Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain.

At the age of 60, Jerry graduated with honors from the Medical Tech Institute of Cleveland with a degree as a Pharmacy Tech.

He was a member of Elks Lodge #1301 in Lorain where he was a past exhaulted ruler. He was a wonderful husband and father and enjoyed bowling, golf and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Dawn (nee Savor), son Victor Horomanski of Elyria, sister Justine Wasco of Baron and several nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward & Cecilia Horomanski (flee Caco).

The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4; 7-9 PM in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where Elks Lodge #1301 will conduct a memorial service Sunday at 7 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 AM in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Dr., Amherst. The Rev. Lawrence Martello, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
